What is "the Asia Pacific Forum, Awaji Conference Japan (Awaji Conference)"

Objectives
The Asia Pacific Forum, Awaji Conference Japan ("Awaji Conference"), an international symposium and forum for the discussion of urgent, important and timely themes, was established to clarify a "new vision for the Asia Pacific" pertaining to symbiosis among the diverse cultures of the Asia Pacific region, and to aim for policy proposals that can be broadly applied in societies.

August 9th 2000.

  • Members are comprised of individuals who support the objectives of the Awaji Conference.
  • With an Emphasis on individual local initiatives, the members carry out academic, wide-raging, cultural and economic exchange.
Membership
Members of the Awaji Conference are comprised of academic scholars, intellectuals, business leaders, journalists and others who possess a deep understanding and interest in the Asia Pacific region.
